Nell'anno 1997 trasmettono (per essere precisi la prima visione fu su Rai2 ore 20:30 un sabato del 1994) il mitico film "Le avventure di Tennesse Buck"
La trama: una specie di indiana jones (il simpatico David Keith) viene ingaggiato da una coppia di sposini (la stupenda Kathy Shower, ex playmate di 30 anni
con un fisico da fare invidia a una 20enne) per un avventura-safari nel borneo (il film è effettivamente girato li), durante una escursione nei boschi l'assistente indigeno
trova un pezzo di merda, lo annusa (sic!) e riconosce che è stata mangiata carne umana (no comment)..tempo 1 minuto ed i nostri sono accerchiati da una tribù di cannibali
pittati i quali dopo averli legati come salami prendono la donna (mica fessi) e la "offrono" al capo tribù (un giovane veramente odioso)
la donna viene oliata (non vi metto la gif altrimenti mi appare "messaggio in attesa di moderazione" e po non appare più il messaggio) e si vedono i capezzoli turgidi "rimbalzare"
tra le dita delle donne oliatrici, la stessa donna verrà poi "presa" da dietro dal giovane capo tribu, non vi dico il finale ma è a lieto fine
se volete vedere la scena cercate in rete "kathy shower oil rubbing" "tennessee buck oil scene" e simili e salteranno fuori decine di video.
Ora la parte più importante, taluni sostengono che esista una "versione estesa" del film dove la donna viene oliata ma prima viene spogliata, la scena dura diversi minutii di più e
contiene scene al limite dell'hard, un altra versione (ancora più riidicola) ci parla addirittura di una scena di stupro su una delle indigene

Perchè è una leggenda metropolitana:

PUNTO 1: I sostenitori della "versione estesa" dicono che è stata trasmessa negli anni 90 (l'anno preciso è talvolta il 1996, talvolta il 1997, talvolta il 1998)
in un tv via cavo europea, ovviamente l'orario di trasmissione, il nome del canale se lo sono scordati. Anche la nazione precisa se la sono scordati, scrivon
solo "european version"

PUNTO2: La censura è abbastanza servera, un film che contiene scene hard è difficile che venga trasmesso in reti pubbliche, al massimo tv private (Dorcel e simili)

PUNTO3: ammettiamo sia stata trasmessa, strano che nessuno in ben 24 anni non abbia messo uno, dico un solo fotogramma, o almeno riporti delle informazioni precise (canale e orario di trasmissione)

PUNTO3-A: ammettiamo sia stata trasmessa, strano che nessuno l'abbia registrata in vhs, forse prorprio in quell'ora per una strana coincidenza i vcr erano tutti spenti, oppure malfunzionanti

PUNTO4: Kathy Shower era una playmate, spesso partecipe in scene erotiche soft come farsi oliare il seno (anche in un altro film lo fa), non era un attrice da film porno e dubito si facesse
toccare la puchiacchia da delle donne

PUNTO5: una delle "prove" sull'esistenza della versione estesa sarebbe nel fatto che in alcuni trailer l'inquadratura è diversa, o visualizzato questi trailers (su youtube)
e sono identici alla versione televisiva, cambia solo lo zooming e il rapporto di aspetto ma quello può modificarlo chiunque con un minimo di conoscenza "video"

PUNTO6: È possibile che il film abbia subito dei tagli censori, anzi è quasi certo, ma quando un film viene tagliato la copia originale non penso circoli liberamente, tantomeno in una tv via cavo pubblica

Per maggiori info cercate "Tenesse buck extended version" o "european (sic) uncut version"

p.s= Solitamente in queste discussioni si presentano trolls in lingua inglese che ci assicurano che la versione "estesa" esiste
in quanto "loro l'hanno vista" oppure "appare un fotogramma con aspetto e colori differenti.." inutile dire che non porteranno
ne fotogrammi, ne tantomeno video, solo parole.

Notare l'arco di tempo "1990's" quindi potrebbe essere il 1991, il 92..il 95 fino al 1999!
Notare anche "show on cable", senza dare la minima indicazione di dove, la tv via cavo
esiste in Francia e in almeno altre 7 nazioni europee

È possibile (ma non sicuro) che la versione originale contenesse più dettagli, hanno inventato la commissione censoria per questo. Quello che mi suona strano oltre ai fatti già esposti prima è che se la versione "originale" è fuggita dagli U.S.A (paese di produzione del film, il regista David Keith è un attore americano, protagonista del film) come ha fatto a finire in Europa?
Purtroppo temo che la "versione estesa" sia ne più ne meno che una leggenda urbana di sapore internettiano, la versione moderna delle conosciute "33 cl di sperma" "lamette negli acquafan" "benvenuto nel mondo dell'aids" "il casco che rimosso rivela la testa aperta" "mio cugino ha visto un topo..." "rocky mannaia" e via dicendo.
Con la differenza che almeno quelle leggende urbane erano simpatiche e ci ridevi sopra, questi a volte snervano nella loro insistenza

The stripping of Barbara
Barbara is held up against the wall of the hut by two young native women while an older native woman stands in front of Barbara and proceeds to pull at her shirt. Barbara's shirt is ripped open revealing her bosom and then Barbara is striped down to her panties before being pulled away to the chief's bed for her oil rub down.
Extended oil sequence
The infamous oil rub down is only a minute long in the official version. In this extended version the oil sequence is around 2 minutes long with additional shots of Barbara having her breasts squeezed hard relentlessly with more moans coming from Barbara as the native women work her up into a frenzy.
Extra and longer sex scenes
The first is of Barbara, having been oiled up extensively by the native women, lying on her front with her rear slightly raised with the chief taking her from behind. There is a wide shot of this happening that is not in the official version.
The next sex scene occurs after the chief enters the hut with a naked oiled up Barbara sitting on the ground. He glares at her as Barbara backs up to the hut's wall and says in an angry tone "What do you want?" The chief then throws the head of her husband at her. This scene is extended with the chief having sex with Barbara a second time except this time Barbara is lying on her back and the chief is on top of her.
The deleted or cut scenes from the film include a scene where Barbara is forcibly stripped by the native women before her oil rubdown.
Barbara is being held by two native women in front of the chief's mother while the other two women remove her belt, boots, trousers and shirt as the chief's mother looks on. They then pin Barbara onto a table and begin to rub her in oil."

You're talking 30 odd years ago so yes the precise broadcast time, channel name and nation would be hazy at best.

Again wrong. Many films shown late at night may have had extra scenes in them that were not allowed in the theatrical versions. It was broadcast on Cable channel in Europe and on cinemax back in the early 90's. Apparently the work print of the film finds its way onto those channels for a limited time. The fact that no extra scenes have been found on the net is due to the film being rarely seen so the chances of anyone having a taped copy of the uncensored version is very remote. Other B-movies like Cyborg have deleted scenes that haven't been found yet so TB is no exception. TB has never been officially released onto dvd or blu ray either which doesn't help matters.

This again. TB was shown late at night on cable a few times. Almost all people back then would've never heard of TB. It was just one of those films that you would happen to catch if watching late night TV. And even then would they have watched the whole film or fell asleep while watching it. So the idea that it would've been taped is lacking at best. And if it was taped 30 so years ago the tape has long been lost or had badly detoriated since then.

Wrong. Further evidence of cut scenes from the international trailer which shows a different shot of the oil scene. It is brief but you can tell it is different as the tribal women are rubbing Kathy's legs, butt, stomach in a more aggressive way with Kathy kinda of kicking her leg out a bit and a native's hand goes into her groin just before the scene cuts out. So there definitely was more scenes shot during the oiling sequence.

Unless it gets sold to the European market which many films did which included scenes not seen in the theatrical cut of the movie. This was very common back in the 80's and 90's.

It's very obvious that the film was edited down. As we have discussed in earlier posts the scene with Kathy naked and greased up sitting in the hut next to a small flame looking exhausted and defeated. There are flower petals sticking to her parts of her body, face and hair. This shows that she has already been humped to death by the chief while being held down on the floor. This scene takes place before we see Kathy being pumped doggy style into oblivion on the floor which proves that the film was heavily edited down in the official version. The sequence of these events is out of sync and suggests there were more scenes leading up to the oiling and rape but were cut out. You get these nay sayers shouting "where's the proof of an unedited version of the film" but they forget some major factors.

1. Tennesse Buck is a very rare film. It was barely seen back in the 80's due to a very limited release both in the cinema and on video.

2. It was shown on TV but late at night. So very few saw the film back in the day and that was only if they had happened to have caught it.

3. Many 80's films had scenes cut out that have not resurfaced. Cyborg (1989) still has missing scenes that haven't been found to this day.

4. At times, some films shown on TV did include some scenes that weren't shown in the official version. Why this was I don't know but it proves that when films are edited the editors make more than one version and those extended versions got shown on TV but rarely.

5. Nobody has screen shots of the extended version of TB due to the fact that nobody recorded the film as it was so unknown. Most just happened to have seen it one night by chance and that was it. The uncut version was only shown perhaps a mere handful of times and only a rare few saw it let alone recorded it.

6. If they did record it then those tapes have long been lost or damaged as VHS tapes don't last long unless kept in very good condition.

7. A few have stated they saw the unedited version on Cinemax back in the early 90's and all describe the same scenes (Kathy being stripped naked, longer oil sequence, more rape). The nay sayers will state its the "mAndElA EFfeCt" but a group of people who are in different locations do not remember the exact same sequences of events if it was the mandela effect in action. People have described the same scenes exactly because they all saw the same film so this claim is false.

8. We see further evidence of cut scenes from the international trailer which shows a different shot of the oil scene. 9. It is stated on imdb that one of the producers of the film had some scenes lessened due to them being a bit much so they wanted the film down to an R rating and not X rated as this would mean the film would get a limited release which it did anyway.

10. Kathy has done way more provocative scenes in other films like Erotic Boundaries. In that film she is nude numerous times and has multiple sex scenes including one with a woman along with a masturbation scene too. To think that Kathy didn't do a few more sex scenes and nude scenes in TB is ludicrous. It's how she made a good living.
